Mary (Molly) Egondu Uzoh is a Molly is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in Curriculum and Instruction (specializing in Instructional Technology) with Master of Science in Instructional Technology, and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education with a minor in Computer Science. She has e-health certifications in EPIC Care Ambulatory, EPIC Care Emergency Department and EPIC Care Orders. She also has Business Re-engineering Certificate in Nanotechnology. She holds a New York State School Administrator and Supervisor Certification, as well as a New York State Mathematics Teacher Certification, among many other certifications.  Molly is credited to developing the first interactive multimedia and object oriented educational software for Igbo language; and has produced a prototype of a series of interactive multimedia software for learning African languages like Igbo, Yoruba and Swahili.
Molly is the founder/CEO of Learning Right Technologies, LLC, a small business enterprise in the heart of the Silicon Valley. The company specializes in ICT consulting and educational services/tools. They provide curriculum R&D for instructor-led and web-based content: interactive multimedia instructional design, learning simulations, educational software, games and video production; e-learning, e-government, e-business, e-health such as EPIC consulting; and new program implementation; leadership and technical training; documentation, technical writing, e-library, users manual; database, knowledgebase, and project management.  She runs an online learning institute with over 3500 courses at www.rightvarsity.com.
She brings with her, the expertise and diverse skills needed for leadership and project management, familiarity with multilevel organizational learning strategies and world leading interpersonal Styles and Team Building instruments like FIRO-B™, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, 360 Degrees feedback, etc.

They facilitated the first Silicon Valley African Trade Expo (www.svtradexpo.com); successfully propelled the first Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) “Silicon Valley Hi-Tech Strategic Alliance Delegation,” and assisted the Silicon Valley Center for International Trade Development (SVCITD) with the Ugandan International Trade Mission in 2003. In 2006, she did an Epic implementation curriculum design and development project for Kaiser Health Connect, which saved them over $1.5 million in training materials for rolling out all Epic modules to all their facilities in Northern California. This includes the curriculum for training all the project management, application development and training teams, as well as over 40,000 end users.  She recently facilitated a very successful “Empowering Technology in Africa” event for Google.
Molly is actively involved in ICT workforce and capacity development, E-learning, OpenSource, functional education, and indigenous content development initiatives as well as programs dealing with technology empowerment of women, both in the United States and internationally.  She has presented many papers/workshops/seminars on topics relevant to those issues that she drives. In addition to several local speaking appearances, she has presented papers and moderated sessions at the domestic and international conferences including E-Learn World conference in Quebec, Canada; E-learning Africa, in Nairobi Kenya, Ghana and many others.
She demonstrated her Right2Learn VM at the E-learning Africa 2008 in Ghana. Right2Learn VM is powerful offline/online virtual desktop with pre-installed Opensource applications that empower e-learning/software developers to work seamlessly across platform, irrespective of capacity: memory size, software content, network bandwidth, etc. It works on any USB-enabled computer. Molly conceptualized Right2Learn VM took it to manufacturing stage. She is constantly exploring and evaluating cutting edge e-learning tools for contemporary learning environments including learning content development for games, simulations, Web 2.0, and 3D virtual worlds. 


Molly is not a newcomer in the industry. She has been a key player in corporate learning arena for over 10 years. She established and managed the first engineering training department at Legato. She also facilitated corporate universities and e-business initiatives, strategic alliance, new product readiness, and program management especially at Legato and Maxtor.  Molly assisted in the initial NYS Mathematics, Science And Technology Standards implementation at Troy Enlarged City School District, Troy New York.  She facilitated the interactive web-based multimedia initiative, which eventually led to the introduction of full-fledged e-learning curriculum at faculty Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Troy, New York. She trained and provided technical assistance to faculty members on multimedia data management and on-line course design including menu-based database construction and maintenance, reference libraries, technical bibliographies, and dynamic searchable data storage and archiving.

Just recently, she  was involved in the initial E-Learning Implementation for University of Nigeria Nsukka where she provided “Best Practices in E-learning Management, Standards Accreditation Compliance” training to  the administrators and management team;  Interactive Multimedia Production training, and a workshop on “Migration From Paper-based instructor-led lectures  to Blended Web-based Courses” for academic staff and course developers.


Over 10 years of Molly’s teaching experience span across elementary school, middle school and High school Mathematics and English teacher, as well as college instructor for Mathematics and Computer Applications for Decision Makers both internationally and domestic. She drafted the first Troy School District K – 12 Mathematics and Technology curricula in alignment with New York State Learning Standards, following it up with complementary teacher training, competency standards and sample performance and change management strategies.


Molly tries to integrate her media, technology, ethnic and academic background to the contemporary needs of the educational services and Information Technology industry. She has put in many years in the media industry as a writer, Actress and Producer of weekly prime time television (sitcom, cultural, and educational) shows, stage plays, Educational Video and Documentaries. She piloted a weekly educational and African cultural show called African Television on Comcast for Silicon Valley audience. Prominent among her media projects are a cultural documentary: Behind the Talking Drum with Cablevision, Wappingers Falls, NY;  JAMB: Joint Abuse of Man’s Brain. A satirical Television Drama which was indirectly calling for the improvement of the quality of JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) produced with James Iroha for Imo Broadcasting Corporation Television (IBC-TV,) Nigeria. She moderated some episodes of “Choices” a local radio show in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1994.  Molly wrote several News Commentaries on contemporary issues for Imo Broadcasting Service (IBS,) Nigeria. She has also contributed to many newspapers, magazines and various publishing companies including the Smithsonian, Washington DC. as a freelance writer or Editor.

Molly’s capacity building involvement extends to the community where she is a San Jose City Commissioner of Small Business Development. Molly is the one that established Silicon Valley Future Stars (http://www.svap.org ) - an innovative afterschool program that integrates cultural preservation, broadcast media production, robotics, technology workforce skills and entrepreneurial development, aimed at preparing the disadvantaged youth in the SV for the hi-tech opportunities next door. Her latest initiative is Techie Ladies - A community program for technology empowerment of Black female. Molly’s community service stretches far and near. In the past, she had served as a San Jose City Commissioner of Early Care and Education, the Executive Director of Nigerians In Diaspora, Americas; and the VP of Education and Community for the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
